I am a current third-year Communications and Media student at the University of South Australia with a year’s experience in Journalism and Professional Writing also. It is the very tools and skills I have learnt over the past two and a half years that were applied in my social media promoting job. I worked for a golf and wine tour company where I had to be very active on the social media side of things, sharing posts, posting stories and making sure the companies news feed was up to date. In doing so, public relations and social media marketing skills were developed.
I also have a background in developing blogs, where basic technology skills, people interaction and appealing to viewers were necessities to achieve success. These basic technology skills involved creating a logo, working intimately with programs like Adobe Photoshop and navigating through various sites.
With an eye for creativity and original ideas, I am eager to develop and weave these strengths into future assignments and employment within the marketing, public relations and creative arts fields.

I’m in my fourth-year at Kedge Business School in France. Having started a program in Human Resources, I have nevertheless started a process of reflection on my future career plan. I like risk management, which I was able to approach through one of my courses in France, as well as strategy, which requires a careful study of a given situation to propose solutions. However, I don’t think these are notions that I can find in HR, hence my thinking. I am taking advantage of this exchange in Canada to approach courses that I have never had the opportunity to take, in particular communication, which I am involved in three different courses.
